Well, it’s been quite a while since I have written you all. Time got away from me and the days have been so busy! What better time of the year to revive the blog than Christmas time! We have done so much and the kids are hardly recognizable compared to the last photos posted here. So, what better way to show them off than photo Christmas cards! Once we make it past Christmas, we will be full steam ahead into Chloe’s 1st Birthday!!! I can hardly believe that it has already nearly been a year since we met our precious little princess. Some of Chloe’s pictures from her newborn photo shoot are on display at Baptist Hospital-Little Rock. There are several photos of her hanging in the waiting areas for labor and delivery and hallways on that floor. She is also hanging in two of the postpartum rooms!!! I am so proud and excited for my little supermodel!

Jackson, one of Gavin’s friends, turned 3 in March. He had a very fun party with Brian and Terri Kinder performing. While it may not look like it in the photos, he really did have fun!

Blog Slacker

Well, I have really been slacking on the blog posts these days. Here it is the last day of March and I have not posted since the beginning of the month, and it was a short one! I didn’t want to let the month go by, so I thought I would post a quick update. I am putting the pressure on myself to do better, so check back in a few days for pictures to be added.

We have been staying quite busy these days. I went back to work last week, and even after 12 weeks at home it was still hard to go back. The transition to daycare was much easier this go around than it was when I first took Gavin to daycare. Chloe has the same teachers that Gavin had as a baby, and she has been adjusting well to daycare. She started sleeping through the night at 7 weeks and she continues to sleep at least 7 hours each night!!!! What a great relief this is for a mommy that has to be at work at 6:30 am! At her two-month appointment she was 12 lbs 6.5 oz. She was in the 90th percentile for height and weight!!! She will be 3 months old on Easter Sunday and I am sure has picked up another pound or two since her last weigh-in! She is a happy baby and is so close to letting out her first big chuckle laugh, but she just can’t seem to push it out. Be on the lookout for video though once she finally gets it out!!!

Gavin is still loving being a big brother and he is a great helper! We have not had to deal with any jealousy issues with him at all!!! It is great seeing how excited he is to see her when he gets home and observe just how much he LOVES her. We are truly blessed!!!!

The other biggest news around our way is that we have purchased our first home!!!! We will be moving into our new home in Bryant in just a few weeks and we are so excited!!! I can’t wait to spend the summer evenings outside playing with the kids. I am so glad they will have their own space to run around and play. I think that’s about it for now, and I will be back soon with plenty of pictures to share!

Like Brother – Like Sister??? What do you think?

A friend asked me to post some side by side comparison pictures of Gavin and Chloe to compare them. Some people have said they look just alike. I don’t really see it. What do you think? After I posted these pics, I think there are some similarities, especially in the bath time picture. ***I have had a hard time getting these pics right! I hope they come across right on your screen. The left hand column is Gavin and the right hand one is Chloe!***

Chloe’s 1st Visit to ACH – 3 weeks old

Chloe had a clinic appointment at Children’s to check her hips out when she was 3 weeks old. Her pediatrician heard a hip click at her 1 week appt and wanted us to follow up there. We went in for an ultrasound and were very thankful for great results!!! While we were there we stopped by the Child Life office to visit. Here are a couple of pictures with some friends from work.

Knitting for Noggins!

While we were at ACH, Chloe got her first Knitting for Noggins hat! Knitting for Noggins is a program through our Volunteer Services department at the hospital where people knit or crochet hats for patients of all ages. Big Brother Gavin

Gavin has been a great big brother!!! He just loves Chloe so much! He wakes up wanting to see her and he comes in from daycare giving her hugs and kisses!!! We actually have to stop him from kissing on her so much sometimes! He calls Chloe “my baby” and “my Chloe”. I hope that they he will always be so loving towards her! Here are a few pictures of them together. You can see how proud he is!
